Superintendent's message

It is truly good to be able to deliver this message.

I am honored to be serving this amazing community, this ridiculously dedicated and talented staff and
our awe inspiring children.

It is an interesting transition from teacher to Superintendent and comes with its own set of challenges
but I am excited for, and prepared to meet, those challenges head on. I welcome and encourage anyone
in the community to come and see me. I look forward to the opportunity to talk to you and make sure
that you are heard in our quest to educate our children.

There have been some exciting changes going on in our buildings and I welcome you to come see them
when you have a chance. The elementary school received a face lift of sorts with a new flooring project
throughout the upper floor and in all the classrooms. The high school will have a completely new and
improved science room, lights for our football and baseball fields, new bathrooms for both men and
women and the centerpiece of it all- a new ceiling in our gym- gone are the old acoustic tiles, having
been replaced by a beautiful clear coated pine ceiling.

Athletics have started and we look forward to seeing you at games.

We have pushed school back a week due to some construction delays and will set aside a Friday per
quarter to make up those days, so we will still be out of school in early June and graduation will not
need to be moved.

I am very excited to see your children in school this year and look forward to welcoming our new staff
members aboard as well.

Please feel free to come up and see us!
