Superintendent's message

The first year was truly a whirlwind and I have to thank each and
every member of our faculty and staff who welcomed me with
open arms and worked hand in hand with me to make year one a
success. This is truly an amazing district in which to work and an
amazing community in which to live!

We accomplished some great things and are in for more changes
as we go forward. We welcome new staff, begin to implement new
programs, and form new partnerships. Some of these changes are
widely known and some will be revealed as we press forward this
year. We are moving forward to make this district even better than
it has historically been.

I will always welcome and encourage anyone in the community to
come and see me. I look forward to the opportunity to talk to you
and make sure that you are heard in our quest to educate our
children.

I am planning on applying for some grants this school year to allow
us to put an air conditioner in our gymnasiums to allow for a place
for a cooling shelter as well as make them more comfortable for
late summer games.

We welcome in some new staff members this year and look
forward to their contributions to an already talented and
dedicated staff. We welcome a new full-time Special Education
teacher as well as a new 3 rd -4 th grade blend teacher. Feel free to
come to visit with us and get to know, or get reacquainted with
our staff!

Athletics have started and we look forward to seeing you at games.
I am very excited to see your children in school this year and look
forward to welcoming our new staff members aboard as well.

Please feel free to come up and see us! We are here to serve!
